Obituary:

Yoshio Yamashita, 85, of Kahului, Maui, died on December 27, 2011 at Maui Memorial Medical Center.

Visitation will begin at 3:30 p.m. Friday, January 13 at Kahului Union Church; with a service at 4:00 p.m. Burial will be at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 14 at Maui Memorial Park. The family requests aloha attire.

Mr. Yamashita was born on June 5, 1926 in Wailuku, Maui.

He was a Wharf Clerk for McCabe Hamilton & Renny Co.

He is survived by his son Craig Yamashita; daughters, Naomi (Guy) Yamashiro and Marsha Yamashita; sisters, Florence Hashimura, Caroline (Stanley) Kiyotoki, Betsy Kagawa; three grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
