Nakamura Mortuary was established years ago, and serving families has always been our focus. We take pride in being able to guide people through some of their most difficult days. We take pride in maintaining a setting that allows people to find solace. Celebrating life is our mission. That’s never changed. And with pride, it never will.
Nakamura Mortuary has been in business on the island of Maui for over 75 years. We provide services for every faith with a personalized touch for each individual family. We believe in honoring tradition and embracing the future with an open mind.
Our chapel can comfortably seat 250 guests in an air conditioned environment. We also have a small, intimate viewing room available for families.

As area sales director, Jeff has served in the funeral services profession for more than six years, always working to bring out the best in everyone around him while creating a culture of belief in each other and what we can accomplish as a team.
“Our team does not have limits or restrictions to what we can do to ensure a family's needs are met,” Jeff says. “We say 'yes' first and then find a way to make it happen. We encourage complete personalization and customization for every family and we pour our unique gifts and talents into every service."

After working in the Mortgage industry for 14 years, Christina decided to do something in which she could help others. That decision led Christina to the start of her career in the cemetery profession. In June 2014, Christina came to Maui Memorial Park as a Clerical & Administrative Specialist. After her first encounter with a family who had lost their son unexpectedly, she knew that she had made the right career decision. In April 2016, she was promoted to the Location Office Manager for Maui Memorial Park and Nakamura Mortuary. Today, she serves as the General Manager for both Maui Memorial Park and Nakamura Mortuary.
“I have been blessed to work with a group of caring and compassionate people,” says Christina. “The families we serve are treated as our own.”
