Thomas Charles Goss

August 23, 1953 - March 11, 2022

Thomas Charles Goss died March 11, 2022 after a hard-fought battle with cancer. He was the son of Charles and Evelyn VanKleeck Goss of Tillson, NY. He was born 1953 in Kingston, NY. Tom was a graduate of SUNY Ulster and attended William Paterson University, NJ. While living in NJ Tom was a member of the Wanaque First Aid Squad and volunteered his time providing first aid and transportation to local hospitals. He worked for IBM for 32 years and was a member of the Quarter Century Club. Upon retirement from IBM, he got his real estate and Brokers license and worked for Prudential Nutshell Realty in Stone Ridge. He was an active member of the Stone Ridge Library, serving on the Board and volunteering at the annual Library Fair. Tom was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Evelyn VanKleeck Goss, sisters Charlene Goss Day and Sally Ann Goss Capasso and her husband Daniel Capasso. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Marion Mizel Goss of Maui, daughters Heather Goss Baylosis (husband Joshua Baylosis) of Maui, Elizabeth Goss Hernandez (husband Jose Hernandez) of CA, and grandsons Cruz Baylosis and Haze Lee Baylosis, and Charles Hernandez and Rockwell Hernandez. He is also survived by brothers Richard Goss (wife Julie Goss) of North Attleboro, MA, and Ronald Goss (wife Krissy Goss) of Cocoa Beach, Fl; brother-in-law Stephen Day (wife Chris Day) of Costa Rica, sister-in-law Susan Mizel Sadler (husband David Sadler) of Cottekill, NY, brother-in-law John Mizel (wife Marianne Ossmer Mizel) of Ulster Park, NY, many dear nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a future time.
