Aaron Lurendez-Medeiros' Obituary
Aaron “Bubs” Lurendez-Medeiros was blessed to me on September 8, 1995. Aaron found his true peace on June 4, 2015.
Aaron enjoyed anything to do with the ocean. I would always say he was part fish. If he wasn’t in the water he would be up the mountain hunting and enjoying the beauty and stillness of God’s amazing creation.
His love and loyalty to the people that he held dear to his heart was truly priceless. He would do anything and everything he possibly could just to put a smile on their face. He could go to any part of the island and he would have a home, food or someone just to simply share love and life with.
Aaron was predeceased by his grandpa, Carl Medeiros and his great grandpa Raymond Medeiros.
Aaron is survived by his mom, Sunny Medeiros; dad, Derrick Lurendez; sisters, Shailee, Haylee and Kale’a Lurendez; grandparents, Dexter and Josephine Tom; Francis and Harriet Lurendez; aunties, Lisa and Nani Medeiros and Anela Lurendez; uncles, Eugene, Francis Jr., Brandon and Frankie Lurendez.
As I would say… it takes a village to raise a child…Aaron was definitely blessed with a large village - 15 cousins, several hanai moms and an abundance of hanai cousins.
Please join us as we honor and celebrate Aaron’s life, Sunday, June 28th at Kenolio Park
(across Suda beach). Services to begin at 12:00 noon and lunch to follow.
Aaron’s contagious smile and beautiful spirit touched so many. How lucky we are whose paths crossed with such a special young man. Aaron you will truly be missed every moment of every day.
