Agapito Ramos' Obituary
It is with great sadness that the Ramos Ohana announces the passing of Agapito Ancheta Ramos, 83, on June 12, 2021 at his home in Lahaina.
Agapito was born to late Felix and Juliana Ramos on March 20, 1938 in Laoag City, Philippines. In February of 2004, Agapito and his wife migrated to Lahaina, Maui. His first job was at Leilani’s on the Beach as a dishwasher for over 3 years then at Maui Linen as a laundry attendant and Bubba Gump as a dishwasher.
He is survived by his wife, Cresencia of 59 years, his children – Margie Ramos, Juvy (Alejandro) Abarratigue, Larry (Elieda) Ramos, Juvenal (Madelyn) Ramos, Mary Grace (Rodolfo) Lorejo, Allen (Alona) Ramos, Suprema (Val) Nabual, Myra (Ricky) Ramos, 18 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, along with his cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sister Angelina Ramos Abdon and his brother-in-law Juan Abdon.
We would like to thank Maui Memorial Medical Center, Ohana Health Plan, All Care Hawaii LLC, Island Hospice, Maria Lanikila Church, and Maui Memorial Park Nakamura Mortuary for assisting our family.
We are grateful for the love and support to our relatives, friends, and community during this difficult time.
Services will be held at Nakamura Mortuary on July 1 with public visitation hours from 9:45am - 10:45am and 11:15am - 11:30am. Due to COVID protocol public visitation will only be on a come and go basis. A burial will follow and take place at the Garden of Meditation at 12:30pm.
