Alberta Tacderan Collado's Obituary
Alberta Tacderan Collado, 92 of Wailuku, Maui passed away on October 27, 2020 in the comfort of Islands Hospice Care. She was born on March 16, 1928 in Badoc, Ilocos Norte, Philippines to Isaac and Mikaila Tacderan. She moved to Hawaii on May 23, 1977.
Alberta was a faithful member of the Kahului Full Gospel Temple and read her bible daily. Her favorite musical instrument was the piano, in which she played mornings and evenings. She had an in-home salon, as a hairstylist, and had her regular clients for haircuts and perms. She loved to garden for hours at a time.
Celebration of Life will be held at Nakamura Mortuary on Monday, November 23, 2020 with visitation at 9:30am and service 10:30am. A Private Burial will be held at 12:30pm at Maui Memorial Park. She is predeceased by her husband Macario Collado, Sr. Alberta will be lovingly remembered by her children: Macario (Eunice) Collado, Jr, Tessie (Romeo) Versola, and Emy (Bert) Areola. Grandchildren: Carol (Kenneth) Manuel, Michael (Brandi) Collado, Grant Collado, Valerie (Venjie) Bumanglag, Jerome (Candy) Versola, Genesis Versola, Kirk Areola and Kimberly (Byron) Riglos. Great Grandchildren: Honesty and Israel Manuel, Marissa and Alana Collado, Jaiden James, Jaxon, and Adrian Levi Versola, Mia Avery Areola, and Kyla Skye Riglos. Siblings: Leonardo Tacderan, Augustina Bolante, Gloria Tacderan and Soledad Calaycay.
To our family and friends, our heartfelt appreciation for the love and support you have shown our family through the years. Our parents are finally together again in heaven - smiling, holding hands, and rejoicing.
