Alexandria Louise "Lady Lou" Ruiz's Obituary
Alexandria Louise "Lady Lou" Ruiz, 80, of Wailuku, passed peacefully on May 13, 2018 at her home with her family by her side.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday, July 7, 2018 at St. Anthony Church, with a Mass at 11 a.m. The Ruiz ohana invites you to join them for lunch in the dining hall.
Ms. Ruiz was born on January 11, 1938. She was a sales clerk at Tom’s Mini-Mart.
Alexandria was predeceased by her soulmate & companion, George Tavares; daughter, Andrea “Andie” Ruiz; father, Louis Carvalho; mother, Alexandria Gomes Carvalho; brothers, Amos Carvalho, Alfred Louis “Buddy” Carvalho, Robert A. “Bobby” Carvalho. She leaves behind to cherish her memory brother, Stephen (Dana) Carvalho; daughter, Roxanne “Kini” Ruiz; son, Frank (Danielle) Ruiz; grandchildren, Kanoe (Justice) Ruiz-Agcopra, Kamaile Ruiz, Kamalani Ruiz; great grandchildren, Justyce K. Agcopra-Amadeo and Jaxstyn Frank Agcopra-Amadeo.
She was a very strong willed, selfless, hardworking, and caring person, who always took care of others; love to cook; always had food available for family and friends; and always had her home decorated year round, for all to enjoy. She will be greatly missed.
