Alice Marie Alexander's Obituary
Alice Marie Alexander was born on March 3, 1926 to Manuel & Mary De Cambra in Keahua, Maui.
She lived in Keahua throughout her childhood and was one of nine children. In 1945, Alice married the love of her life, Mr. Alfred L. Alexander Sr. and together they had five children. While Alfred worked hard at Wailuku Sugar Co., Alice maintained the young family’s household. She enjoyed taking care of others and was a wonderful cook who loved to sew. From creating her own mu’umu’us to making clothes for her children, and cooking for others, Alice was a giver in every relationship she had. She was a simple, kind and understanding woman. She was her happiest when she was sitting around, talking story with her family and friends.
