Alice Sachiko Ito's Obituary
Alice Sachiko Ito, 87, of Wailuku, passed away peacefully at Hale Makua Kahului on November 25, 2016.
Services honoring Mrs. Ito were held privately at her request.
Alice was born on June 7, 1929 in Wailuku, Maui. She graduated from Lahaina Luna high school. She married her love, Henry Ito and together they had one child. They also owned and operated the Henry Ito Orchid Nursery. After retiring, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Alice was predeceased by her beloved husband, Henry Ito, and brother, Harry Tanoue. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughter, Tanya (Lloyd) Ito-Shima; granddaughter, Talia (Joseph) Phillip; grandsons, Shevis (Sara J.J.) Shima & Shaun Shima; and 4 great granddaughters. She is also survived by her sister Marian Kishi and sister-in-law, Fumie Tanoue, and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
