Alice Danneth Kaaihue's Obituary
Alice Danneth Kaaihue, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend of Makawao Maui, passed away on July 19, 2024, at the age of 80. She was born on July 27, 1943, in Wailuku, HI.
Alice had a deep love for her family, church, and community. She found great joy in attending church, investing time with her loved ones, and cherishing the memories of her late husband, Herbert "Aku" Kaaihue, whom she married on June 15, 1961, and remained faithful to even after his passing on October 5, 2008.
Alice was known for her kind and gentle nature, always extending a helping hand to those in need. She had a generous spirit and was loved by all who knew her. Alice had a passion for music and was a member of the church choir at St. Anns Church in Wailuku.
As an administrative secretary, at Maui Medical Group, Alice had a successful career and was admired for her dedication and work ethic. She leaves behind a legacy of hard work and commitment.
Alice believed in the power of family and friends, holding dear the saying, "Always remember the greatest gifts you can ever own is not found in the shops or under the Christmas tree; it is found in the hearts of your loving family and dear friends."
Alice is survived by her 3 Children, son: Herbert Anthony Kaaihue Jr. (Lisa), daughters: Allison Hokuokalani Kaaihue, Rochelle Lopailani Kemfort. 5 Grandchildren, Joshua Kaaihue (Sydney), Cheyron Kemfort (Lee), Alika Kemfort (Beau), Kapena Kemfort, Amanda Kaaihue. 8 Great Grandchildren, Keanu, Serenity, Harmony, Kanoa, Zayne, Kala'i, Kealohi, & Hi'ilawe. 2 sisters: Margaret Estrella, Remidos Cadorna. 1 Brother: Alfred Alensonorin
Alice Danneth Kaaihue will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. Her memory will forever remain in our hearts, and her legacy of kindness and love will continue to inspire us. May she rest in eternal peace.
