Amador was born in naglayaan, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, where he quickly distinguished himself through academic excellence. His pursuit of knowledge led him to the University of the East in Manila, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Commerce, majoring in Accounting. As the first professional in his barangay, Amador was not only a source of pride for his community but also an inspiration for future generations to value education as a pathway to success. Military Career In 1968, Amador began a military career that would define much of his life. Serving in various capacities, including auditing military camps across the Philippines, he exemplified dedication and integrity. His commitment to service was further enriched by his military education at Fort Benjamin Harrison in Indianapolis. Amador also played a pivotal role as a founding member of the Philippine Army Finance Center Producers Integrated Cooperative (PAFC PIC), an organization he remained devoted to until his passing. He retired with the esteemed rank of Colonel, leaving behind a legacy of leadership and service.
Family Life:
Family was at the core of Amador’s life. Together with his beloved wife, Zenaida, he raised three children—Antoniette, Amador Jr., and Andy James—with deep love and unwavering support. As a father, he instilled in them the values of hard work, respect, and compassion. His grandchildren, Laiton, Danielle, Christina, Jaiden, Kalei, and Kamea were the light of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them. Reflecting on his father’s influence, Andy James shared, “My father was a man of few words, but his actions spoke volumes. He taught us the importance of integrity and the value of always putting family first.”

Amador’s impact extended far beyond his immediate family. His generosity was well-known within his community, particularly in his efforts to support education. He frequently donated books and supplies to local schools, firmly believing that education was the key to transforming lives. This commitment to uplifting others was not limited to education; Amador was always willing to lend a helping hand to family, friends, and community members in need. His wife, Zenaida, lovingly remarked, “Amador never sought recognition for his acts of kindness. He gave because it was in his nature to help others, and that’s how we’ll remember him—a man who lived simply but made a significant difference in the lives of those around him.” Amador’s life was defined by humility, wisdom, and an unwavering commitment to those he loved. His passion for gardening and his business acumen were reflections of his disciplined and nurturing nature. Above all, he will be remembered as a man who led by example, whose quiet strength and boundless generosity left an indelible mark on everyone who knew him.
