Amancio Gaspar Doronio's Obituary
Amancio (Born on June 10, 1931) passed peacefully from this life, the morning of July 5, 2024, in Kahului, Hawaii. He was born in Sarrat, Ilocos Norte Philippines, but moved to Hawaii in 1989, with his wife Avelina. Upon moving to Hawaii, he worked in the landscaping industry in Kapalua, Lahaina until he retired. Amancio, fondly known as Tata Manciong, was a kind and caring man. A cherished husband, wonderful father and grandparent. Amancio wore many titles: Tata, Tang, Ama, Tata Manciong, Lilo and Tay. During his free time, he enjoyed gardening or watching tv, specifically the Filipino Channel or Wrestling. His culinary skills were outstanding, especially his Singkutsar (meat with soup).
Amancio is predeceased by his son Ruben.
Survived by his wife Avelina, 9 children, 22 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
During his last few days, he was surrounded and supported by his loving family and caregivers.
He will then lay in eternal peace in Solsona, Ilocos Norte Philippines.
