Amy Ku'uleinani Morondos' Obituary
Amy Ku'uleinani Morondos, 36, of Hana, passed away on April 23, 2023, with her loving family by her side.
Services will be held at Nakamura Mortuary on Saturday, June 3, 2023. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. with service to begin at 11:00 a.m. Cremation will follow. Paina potluck style at Kanaha beach.
Amy was born on January 8, 1987 in Wailuku, Maui. She recently worked as an assistant manager at Jimmy John's in Washington. She formerly worked as an educational assistant at Hana School & was a director for the Hana Pals county program where she was a positive influence and role model for the keiki of Hana.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, sons, Uriah Maui La'amaikahiki Morondos and William Cruz Kamakanamaikalaniealohamau'ia Cammarata (Ryan Cammarata); mother, Liberata "La'a" Respicio; father, Rex Tito Morondos; step-father, Robert Lee Jr.; sisters, Bridget Mahina Morondos and Casey Makahilahila Morondos; step siblings, Chasity Lee, Robert “Bradah” Lee, Kaleo "Malu" Lee; and many Aunties, Uncles, and Cousins; Best friend that became a sister, HokulaniHaehae and brother-in-law, Chad Cravalho and her many, many loving friends. She was also a very proud God Mother of La'ikuKaumaikala, Laua'eHaehae, Lawakua, Lehia and Lihau Cravalho.
Amy loved softball and horseshoes down at Baldwin Beach Park, where she was part of the Baldwin Beach Bums softball team, she was an assistant coach with Hokulani for the King Kekaulike JV Volleyball girls, going holo holo, doing arts and crafts, and spending time with her family and always having her safety meetings.
She will be missed dearly. Rest in Love Amy.
