Anita C. Cordero's Obituary
We announce with heavy hearts the passing of Anita C. Cordero, who at the age of 63, was called to her eternal rest on May 9, 2024. Surrounded by her family, she departed this life at Queen’s Medical Center. Born on April 14, 1961, in Cuyapo, Nueva Ecija, Philippines, Anita lived a life characterized by her
dedication to her family, her work, and her community.
Anita was an intelligent and generous woman. In her professional realm as an insurance and real estate agent, Anita’s exceptional performance was recognized with numerous awards, including an esteemed trip for two to the Bahamas. Beyond her professional success, she invested time in helping others to cultivate their small businesses, ever willing to share her expertise and resources. Yet, it was her role as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother where she found her greatest joy and fulfillment. Her gentle demeanor and kind heart were her trademarks.
Left to honor Anita’s memory are her husband, Victor Cordero; her children, Pan-Art Ramirez, Michael (Lei) Stills, Lisa Marie Stills, Jason Cordero, Dustin Cordero; and her cherished grandchildren, Lei’a Ramirez, Emily Stills, and ‘Olena Stills. They, along with all who knew her, will hold her memory dear.
The family invites those who knew and loved Anita to attend her funeral services. Visitation will be held at Christ the King church in Kahului on Friday, June 21, 2024, from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm, with a Mass service at 6:30 pm. The visitation will continue on Saturday, June 22, 2024, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, followed by a prayer service and a luncheon to honor her life. Anita will be laid to rest at Maui Memorial Park in Wailuku, with the graveside service commencing at 2:00 pm.
