Anita Louise Mililani Jones' Obituary
Our beloved mother, Anita Louise Jones, was born to the late Anne Kapiolani Hanamaika‘i and David Lewis Moore on December 13, 1936. Peahi, Maui. Mom had 3 sisters and 1 Brother: Aunty Lavina (Deceased), Aunty Jeannie (Deceased), Aunty Francis (Survivor), and Uncle David (Survivor). Momma’s early years was spent growing up in Peahi, Maui, where momma attended Hale Haku elementary school. After completing elementary, our mom moved to Honolulu, where she spent her school years at both Mckinley High School and Kamehameha School. Mom was married and have 5 children. Mom is preceded in death by both of her husband’s Stephen W. Kepilino Sr. and Adam L. Jones. Mom children are all survivors of her, Deborah Tupuola of Las Vegas, NV, Delbert Kepilino of California, Darren Kepilino of Oahu, Hawaii, Davilyn Alvarado of Maui, Hawaii, Stephen Jones of Colorado, Jennifer Jones (deceased at birth). Mom also had 22 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Mom’s favorite Bible scripture is from 1st Corinthians 13:8 (a)(Love never fails). Mom went to heaven on March 31st, 2021 in Maui, Hawaii, To be with her redeemer Jesus Christ. Services for Anita will be held on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at Nakamura Mortuary, located at: 1218 Lower Main Street, Wailuku, HI 96793.
Public viewing at 9:30 am, Service at 10:30 am. Burial will be held at Maui Memorial Park Cemetery in Wailuku at 2:00 pm. On behalf of the family, we would like to thank you for coming.
