Annette Yoshiko Miyoken's Obituary
Annette Yoshiko Miyoken, 88, of Lahaina, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2016 at her home under the care of Hospice Maui, and loving family by her side.
Private family services honoring Mrs. Miyoken will be held at a later date. The family requests no koden.
Mrs. Miyoken was born on September 12, 1928, in Lanai City, Lanai, to Yoshiji & Miyono Yamafuji. Annette moved to Lahaina at a very young age, and when it came time to establish her professional career she got a job at the Sheraton Maui. She started working there the day it opened, and 32 years later, she retired.
Annette was an angel, she was loved by all, she was a magnificent seamstress, and always put family first.
Mrs. Miyoken is pre deceased by her loving husband, Tamotsu Miyoken; and brothers, Takashi Yamafuji, and Stanley Yamafuji.
Annette leaves to cherish her memory, sons, Curtis Miyoken, and Randy Miyoken; sister, Betty (Andy) Hirose; brother, Robert (Vee) Yamafuji; and sister in laws, Anita Yamafuji, and Marge Yamafuji.
