Antonio "Tony" Oaman Quemado Sr.'s Obituary
Antonio “Tony” Oaman Quemado Sr, 86, of Kahului, Maui passed away on January 4, 2023, surrounded by his family.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 62 years, Avelina “Belen”; children: Juliet (Jesus), Antonio Jr “Albert” (Carmelita), Dennis, Orlando (Madelyn), Gasat; grandchildren: Jezel Mae, Kristine, Paolyne, Katrina, Sebastian, Kaila, Nathaniel, Mateo, Jan Anthony, Kalani, Nolan; great-grandchildren: Ezekiel, Chanacy, Xavier; sister Sabina Maculam; and numerous relatives and friends.
Tony was predeceased by his parents, Pedro and Sebastiana, three brothers, and one sister; and daughter, Maribel Gapero.
He was born in Paoay, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. Moved to Hawaii in 1991.
He found much pleasure in gardening, sewing, and reading. He looked forward to his yearly visits to the Philippines.
Visitation and wake services will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2023, 6:00-8:00pm at Nakamura’s Mortuary.
Service and visitation will continue Friday, February 3 at 9:00am and mass at 11:00am at Christ the King Church. He will be laid to rest at 2:00pm at Maui Memorial Park, Maui View. The family will be holding a luncheon before burial at Christ the King Cafeteria.
