Arcadio was raised in the Philippines, where he developed a love for boxing in his early years. Throughout his life, he wore many hats—serving as an executive assistant during the day and a bartender at night. He met Carolina in 1960, and their love blossomed, leading to a beautiful marriage two years later. Together, they built a life filled with love and laughter. In pursuit of new opportunities, they moved to Hawaii on October 30, 1997.
A man of deep faith, Arcadio was God-fearing and inspired those around him with his unwavering spirit. He was known for his strong work ethic and his ability to bring joy to others through his humor and positivity.
A funeral service to honor Arcadio Benitez Laxamana will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at 12:30 PM in the Garden of Meditation at Maui Memorial Park. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his legacy of strength, humor, and positivity will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Rest in peace, Arcadio Benitez Laxamana.
