Arthur Seinoshin Kurahara's Obituary
Arthur Seinoshin Kurahara, 94, of Kahului, passed away July 31, 2015, under the loving care of Hale Makua Kahului and Hospice Maui.
Visitation will be 10:00am, on Wednesday, Aug. 19, at Nakamura Mortuary, with services at 11:00am. Inurnment will follow, 2:00pm, at Maui Memorial Park.
Arthur was born July 8, 1921, in Makawao, HI. He retired from HC&S as a Maintenance Supervisor. A veteran, he served in the 100th Infantry Battalion/442nd Regimental Combat Team.
Arthur is survived by his wife, Amelia “Amy” Kurahara; son, Alan (Mari) Kurahara; daughters, Adrienne (Michael) Asato, and Alison Ordonez; grandchildren, Kristi-Lyn Wooten, Ryan Umeno, Miki-Ann Asato, and David Kurahara; great grandchildren, Rylie Wooten, and Zachary Wooten.
