Arthur Shiro Nikaido's Obituary
Arthur Shiro Nikaido, 77, of Pukalani, died on Oct. 4, 2014, at Roselani Place.
Visitation will be at Kahului Union Church on Monday, Oct. 13, 10:00am, with service at 10:30am. Burial will follow, 1:00pm, at Maui Veteran’s Cemetery.
Mr. Nikaido was born Jan. 28, 1937, in Moloka’i, HI. He graduated Lahainaluna High School in 1955, served in the U.S. Air Force from 1956 to 1962, and later retired from Hawaiian Telcom.
Mr. Nikaido was predeceased by his wife, Lorna Nikaido, and brothers, Toshiyaki and James. He is survived by brothers, George (Nawal), and Elton; nephews, Earl and Dean; nieces, Mary and Mariam Smairat, and Alyssa; sister in law, Melissa Pang.
In lieu of koden, donations may be made to the Lahainaluna High School Foundation, or to Hospice Maui.
