Asako Silva's Obituary
"We love you oh so dearly,
Though we could not make you stay.
Your golden heart stopped beating,
Your hard-working hands laid to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us,

Asako "Nora" Silva, 95 of Lahaina passed away peacefully on December 21, 2020 at her home. Born in Lahaina, she worked at Tasty Crust, Hami's Snack Shop, and ended her career as the landlord/manager at Madonna Apartments.
A loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend, Asako was predeceased by her parents, Asajiro and Masa Yoshimoto of Lahaina and her son Stuart Silva of Waiehu. She is survived by her children; Phyllis (Stephen) Ross, Linda Sandra (Derek Ferreira) Silva, Cisco (Juanita Davis) Silva, and 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
A private family service was held on January 13, 2021 at Nakamura Mortuary.
