Atonio "Nio" Lefai's Obituary
Atonio (Nio) Lefai, 62 of Lahaina, Hawaii, a loving husband and father transitioned to heaven peacefully at Pali Momi Medical Center, Honolulu on May 21, 2023, surrounded by his family. He was born on January 18, 1961, in Hihifo Niua Toputapu, Tonga to the late Maea and Letisalaine Lefai.
Atonio moved to Maui in 1997 and worked at the Montage Kapalua. Nio was a devout Christian who enjoyed spending time with family and church members.
Services will be held at Honolua United Methodist Church in Napili, Hawaii on June 8, 2023, at 6:00pm and June 9, 2023, at 9:00am. Burial to follow at 12:30pm at Maui Memorial Cemetery, 450 Waiale Road, Wailuku, HI 96793. Nakamura Mortuary will be assisting the family with all arrangements.
Atonio Lefai is survived by his Wife of 24 years, Annabelle; Daughter, Pheobe-Ann; Sisters, Selina Fiusati Uvea, Evalini Lefai, Pilisita Lefai; and Brother Posikou Lefai. He was predeceased by Alekisio.Lefai, Palavi Lefai, Feauini Lefai, Sosefo Lefai, Pooi Lefai, Viliami Lefai and Bosco Lefai.
