Aurelio Hagad Haluber's Obituary
Aurelio H. Haluber, 74, of Wailuku, passed away peacefully on December 12, 2017 at Maui Memorial Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Services honoring Mr. Haluber will be held at Nakamura Mortuary on Wednesday, February 28, 2018. Visitation will begin at 6:30pm, with prayer service begining at 7:00pm. On Thursday, March 1, 2018, services will be held at Christ the King Church. Visitation will begin at 9:30am, with Mass beginning at 11:00am. Mr. Haluber will be laid to eternal rest at Maui Memorial Park at 12:30pm.
Aurelio was born on December 8, 1943 in Santa Lucia, Ilocos Sur, Phils. to Juan & Margarita Hagad. On July 31, 1966, he married the love of his life, Mrs. Adelaida Haluber, and together they raised 9 children. On July 7, 1990, the family moved to Maui, where Aurelio worked at the Grand Wailea, Ooka Supermarket, and the macadamia nut farm. When he wasn't working, he enjoyed cooking, going to the beach, and spending time with his family. Mr. Haluber leaves behind to cherish his memory, his beloved wife of over 50 years, Mrs. Adelaida Haluber; and their nine children, Maricel Haluber, Ferdinand (Merly) Haluber, Vilma (Gilbert) Pillazar, Nenita (Ricardo) Habab, Edwin Haluber, Romeo Haluber, Edgar Haluber, Gregorio Haluber, Rey Haluber and 18 treasured grandchildren.
