Avelina “Belen” Cabuyadao Quemado ,88, of Kahului Maui, passed away on February 8, 2026 with her loving family on her side.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children; Juliet (Jesus Blanco), Antonio Jr.(Carmelita), Dennis, Orlando (Madelyn) & Gasat. Grandchildren; Jezel Mae, Kristine, Paolyne, Katrina, Sebastian, Kaila, Nathaniel, Mateo, Jan Anthony, Kalani & Nolan.
Great grandchildren; Ezekiel, Chanacy, Xavier & Arissa.
She was predeceased by her husband, Antonio Quemado Sr, daughter Maribel (Jose Gapero+), her parents, Pelagio & Hilaria Cabuyadao,2 brothers & 3 sisters.
Avelina, affectionately known as “Nanang Belen” to all her family, was born on July 9,1937 in Paoay, Ilocos Norte, Phils.
Moved to Maui, Hawaii together with her husband in 1991. She worked tirelessly and retired at Home Maid Bakery where she worked for 25 years. She enjoyed their yearly visit to the Philippines.
Visitation & wake services will be held on Thursday, March 5,2026, 5:00 to 8:00pm at Nakamura. Service & visitation will continue on Friday, March 6 at 8:30am & mass at 10am at Christ the King Church. She will be laid to rest @ 2pm at Maui Memorial Park, Maui View. The family will hold a luncheon before burial at Christ the King Cafeteria.
