Ayato Kiyomoto, 94, of Kahului, died February 6, 2015, at his residence in Kahului, HI.
Private services were held.
Mr. Kiyomoto was born April. 5, 1920 in Makawao. He was the son of Toyosaku and Tewo Kiyomoto.
He was a produce Department Manager and owned a farm.
He was predeceased by his wife, Toyoko Miyake Kiyomoto, and son Daniel Kiyoshi Kiyomoto.
He is survived by two daughters, Sharon Iwasaki, and Arleen Kiyomoto, son in law, Ray Shoemaker, two grandchildren, Nicole Iwasaki, Trisha Nishimoto & husband Derric Nishimoto. Ayato Kiyomoto was part of the elite 442nd regimental combat team, the Lions Club, and was described as a man who valued family, had a love for animals, and children.
