Bette Kai'ulani Purdy's Obituary
Bette Kai’ulani Purdy, 61, of Wailuku, died on September 15, 2014 at her home under the care of Hospice Maui.
Visitation will begin at 1p.m. Sunday, October 26, 2014 at Kaahumanu Church, with a service at 2p.m. Scattering of Ashes will be at a later date.
Mrs. Purdy was born on Jan. 29, 1953 in Kula, Maui.
She was a crew chief for Manheim.
She was predeceased by her parents, Moses & Esther Campbell, Sr.; brothers, Jeremiah, Neal, and Solomon Campbell; sisters, Mildred Campbell and Lowaena Hau.
She is survived by daughter, Renee (Travis) Polido; grandsons, Jamal Fernandez and Jared Purdy; granddaughters, Rainbow Fernandez and Alliyanah Polido; brothers, George (Maile) Campbell, Moses (Helen) Campbell, Jr., Paul (Lei) Campbell, and Bruce Campbell; sisters, Susie Kamalani, Ruth Vilvens, Maybelle (Richard) Ka’a’a; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
