Betty Vitaliana Cabida Pante's Obituary
Vitaliana "Betty" Cabida Pante was born on May 13, 1952 in Binalonan Pangasinan, Philippines and passed away peacefully on February 15, 2017 at Maui Memorial Medical Center. She has worked at the Maui Mariott Resort and Kaanapali Beach Hotel. She was a pantry cook at both jobs. She is predeceased by Herminio U. Pante Sr. She is survived by her two children, daughter, Sheri Mae Pante (John A.S.) Lucas and son, Herminio John (Delilah) Pante Jr.; 7 grandchildren and 3 hanai grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers, Rolando (Marites) Cabida & Rudy (Shirley) Cabida; sister, Irenia (Pedro) Baybayan; and siblings in the Phils.
Services honoring Ms. Pante will be held at Maria Lanakila Church in Lahaina on Thursday, March 2, 2017. A visitation will be held from 6-9pm with Mass beginning at 7:00pm. On Friday, March 3, 2017, services will be held at Nakamura Mortuary in Wailuku. Visitation will begin at 9:00am with prayer service beginning at 10:00am. Ms. Pante will be laid to eternal rest at Valley Isle Memorial Park in Haiku at 12:00pm.
