Betty Chieko Wong's Obituary
Betty Chieko Wong, 76, of Kahului, died on Feb. 23, 2015, at home, under the care of Hospice Maui.
Visitation will be 9:00am on Wednesday, March 4, at Nakamura Mortuary, with services at 10:00am. Interment will follow, 1:00pm, at Maui Veteran’s Cemetery.
Mrs. Wong was born March 10, 1938, in Paia, HI. She was a retired speech therapist’s aid for the Department of Education.
Mrs. Wong was predeceased by her husband of 42 years, Randall Ah Ching Wong, and is survived by her daughters, Aisley Daniels, Lorna Mae (Dean Wakamatsu) Wong, and Christine Wong; her brothers, Susumu Nagata, and Roy (Laurene) Nagata; her grandsons, Justin (Janelle) Shaw, and Austin Daniels; and her great grandchildren, Kawaianu, and Easton Shaw.
