Carole Abalos Baybayan's Obituary
Carole Baybayan, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and aunt, passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 84 on May 16, 2025, at her residence in Kahului, Maui.
Born on March 22, 1941. She graduated from Maui High School and became a licensed cosmetologist.
Carole made fast-friends with everyone she met with her fun-loving personality, this made her loyal to friend. She had a lasting and loving marriage to husband Celedonio Baybayan Jr. They enjoyed success in two business ventures that took them from Maui to Oahu doing painting contract bids for State and Federal projects, and traveled extensively. They returned to Maui to enjoy their retirement years.
Carole was passionate in gardening, growing orchids and rose flowers. She enjoyed baking, especially her favorite rum cake. She enjoyed hair styling which started off with family & friends. Once she became a cosmetologist with the help of her husband, she fulfilled a life long dream of opening a hair salon.
Carole is survived by her husband, Celedonio Baybayan Jr., daughters, Venette Saclot, Vernay Stroble, Celesa (Lenny) Ancheta, Colleen (Glenn) Okazaki, Jacelyn (Kevin) Yamashita, and son, Victor Michael (Lynn) Saclot and numerous grandchildren. Private Service to be held at a later time.
