Caroline F. Santiago, 87, of Kahului, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2017, under the care of Hospice Maui and Roselani Place, with her loving family by her side.
Services honoring Mrs. Santiago were held privately.
Nakamura Mortuary assisted with arrangements.
Mrs. Santiago was born on May 5, 1929, in Kuau, Maui, Hawaii, to John & Carrie Rodrigues. Caroline liked to sew, and at times, worked as an upholsterer for auto body shops. She loved making clothes. She worked as a dressmaker out of her home for years, always having numerous sewing machines setup in her sewing room at home at any given time. She was primarily a homemaker who took pride in raising and caring for her loving family.
Caroline was pre deceased by her loving husband of 59 years, Alfred Santiago Sr.
Caroline leaves to cherish her memory, sons, Alfred (Lucy) Santiago Jr., and Eric Santiago; sister, Genevieve Brown’souza; 6 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.
