Castillo, Cesaria's Obituary
Cesaria M. Castillo, 86, of Kahului, peacefully passed away on December 19, 2024, at Maui Memorial Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. A service to honor her life will be held on January 11, 2025, at Christ the King Church. A private viewing will begin at 9:00 a.m., followed by a public viewing at 10:00 a.m. Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., with fellowship to follow. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Maui Memorial Park.
Born on April 4, 1938, in Ilocos Norte, Laoag City, Philippines, Cesaria was the daughter of Eligio and Ruperta Ancheta Mariano. At the age of 19, she married Anastacio Castillo, with whom she shared 34 years of marriage before his passing. Cesaria worked as a rice farmer in the Philippines before moving to Maui, where she became a stewardess (dishwasher) at the Hyatt Regency Lahaina.
Cesaria leaves behind a loving family who will cherish her memory, including her children: Danilo M. (Naida) Castillo, Josefina M. Castillo, Emigdio M. (Norma) Castillo, Mario M. (Patricia) Castillo, and Ken Erwin M. (Mia) Castillo; her grandchildren: Ritchelle Castillo, Lawrence (Sha-Sha) Castillo, Kristopher Bryan (Shiela Marie) Castillo, Gerald (Crisel) Castillo, Clippord Castillo (Deceased), Mark Patrick (Pola) Castillo, Sheena Ann Castillo, Jessica Mae D. Castillo, and Michelle Lennie D. Castillo; and her great-grandchildren: Claudette Castillo, Maria Lauren Castillo, Lance Gabriel Castillo, Gavin Luca Castillo, and Mateo Caesarius B. Castillo.
