Chang Bok Ono's Obituary
Chang Bok Ono passed away under Hospice care on Friday, 8/4/2023, at her residence in Kahului, Maui. She was born in Korea to Father Byeol Ju and Mother Soong Yo Chi, along with three brothers and two sisters. She survived the Korean War and immigrated to the United States in 1970. She worked at the Westin Maui Hotel for more than 20 years in housekeeping. Chang Bok enjoyed traveling and loved to play Bingo. She was great with her hands and could sew, knit and crochet just about anything. She would crochet bottle holders and yarn leis to share with her friends at Hale Mahuolu where she attended the lunch program after retiring. Chang Bok was also a good cook. Chang Bok is survived by her sister, step children, grand children, great grand children, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
