Charles Victor Nalepa's Obituary
Charles Victor Nalepa, 76, of Kihei, died Aug. 2, 2014, at home, surrounded by his family.
A celebration of Charlie’s life will be held at Wailuku Community Center (Velma McWayne Santos Hall) on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Mr. Nalepa was born July 26, 1938, in Durand, MI. He worked in Public Relations and for years was a well respected mentor in the community. Charlie lived his life in service to others and was an inspiration to all those who knew him.
Charlie is survived by his cherished wife of 30 years, Shelley Nalepa; sons, Charles Oliver (Elana) Essers, Robert (Tina) DeRego, Ivan (Kim) Kwan, Stephan (Bini) Gross; sister, Linda Nalepa; grandchildren, Parker, Annelise, Maile, Ethan, Halia, Tony Charles, and Marlon.
