Shambu/Chuck and I go back as far as grade school together. As teenagers we fished and water skied just about every weekend in his ski boat called Flo-Del named after his mother Florence Mardel. We studied the Martial arts and the Healing arts and in 1973 just after Pink Floyd came out with the album Dark Side of the Moon, we purchased a copy on 8-track, jumped in his 1957 Ford Fairlane station wagon and headed for Reno Nevada. I stayed in Reno to find my fortune and Shambu headed back to San Diego. Sometime after that he went to San Francisco and attended a Holistic Healing School, and then headed towards Oregon with Bhagwan Rajneesh and used his carpentry skills to help build Rajneesh Puram. Sometime after that he traveled the country with motivational speaker Tony Robbins and then planted his roots in Maui Hawaii. I know that his parents have long since passed as has his younger brother Frank. Shambu you are dearly missed by many. I love you always In All Ways,
your pal Dave
