Cherry Anne Forrest Harrison, 92, of Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii, passed away on September 10, 2022, at home surrounded by loving family.
She was born in Clovis, New Mexico, on May 3, 1930, to Leo and Elizabeth Forrest. She had one younger brother, Bedford.
She graduated with honors from McMurry University in Abilene, Texas. She married Dr. Joe Harrison on June 8, 1951, in Hereford, Texas.
She and her family moved from Texas to Lahaina in 1973 when Dr. Harrison became a partner in the Maui Medical Group.
Cherry is remembered for her kind generosity, natural joy, and abundant love for everyone she met. Cherry Harrison is survived by her four daughters, Paula (Gary) Hays of Phoenix, Arizona, Cindy (Doug) Schenk of Wailuku, Susan (Ibrahim) Dik of Honolulu, and Martha (Scott) Tipton of Fort Collins, Colorado; grandchildren, Cristina (Chad Bundy) Schenk, Kevin (Ashley) Schenk; John (Crystal) Tipton, Susan (Chad) Moynahan; hanai-granddaughter, Jenny Pickett; great-grandchildren, Emma, Aukai, Ronan, and Haysel Schenk, Everett Bundy, Phoebe and Cora Tipton and Makena and Kai Moynahan.
