Chuck Hisamoto's Obituary
Chuck Hisamoto of Wailuku, Maui passed away on August 27, 2024 at the age of 59. He is survived by his loving partner Zelie Apo, sons CJ and Christopher, stepchildren Jodi (Justin) Yanagida and Noah Tomooka, brother Steven (Sun) Hisamoto, and sister Tami (Dan) Sato.
Chuck dedicated a good portion of his life to the family-owned business at Hisamoto Body & Fender until its closure in 2017. Most recently, Chuck was employed at Bacon Universal as a heavy machine mechanic.
Chuck had an incredible knack of fixing things and was always up for a good challenge. He took great pride in repairing and restoring things and his determination to get the job done was impressive. His goofy sense of humor and infectious smile could brighten any day.
As we pay our respects to Chuck, let us celebrate the life of an individual who had given so generously of himself. His unwavering devotion to his cherished loved ones and the joy he brought to those around him will be forever treasured.
Services honoring Chuck will be held at Nakamura Mortuary in Wailuku on Monday, September 30, 2024. Visitation begins at 4:00 pm with the service to follow at 6:00 pm. Aloha/casual attire suggested.
