Clarence Takayuki Kubo, 90 of Lahaina passed away on May 14, 2011 at Kula Hospital.Visitation will be held from 10:30a.m. to 11:30a.m., on Tuesday, May 24, 2011, at Lahaina United Methodist Church; service over ashes will begin at 11:30am. Aloha attire is requested.Mr. Kubo was born on April 2, 1921 in Puukolii, Lahaina. He was a machinist for Baldwin Packers and Maui Land and Pine. He retired as a maintenance supervisor from the Maui Eldorado.He is predeceased by his wife Miyoko Kubo and son Ronald "Ronnie" Kubo; survived by daughter Leila Nacua of Lahaina; sons Jeffrey Kubo of Kailua-Kona and Todd (Valerie) Kubo of Kahului; grandchildren, great-grandchildren; sisters Sadako Ito and Kazumi "Kay" Sakuma of Honolulu.
