Consita S. Bucaneg's Obituary
Consita S. Bucaneg, 96 of Lahaina, Maui passed away June 13, 2020 at her residence under the care of her loving family and Islands Hospice Maui. She was born to Felamon and Franisca Sumagid in Wailua, Oahu on March 31, 1924. She was a Homemaker. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2020 at Nakamura Mortuary in Wailuku from 9:00am to 10:00am; service to start at 10:00am. Burial will take place at Maui Memorial Park, The Maui View section at 12:30pm.
Family asked that social distancing takes place and masks are required.
Consita has 11 children; predeceased by her two daughters Florence Bucaneg and Marivic Bucaneg; survived by her lifelong husband of 82 years, Zacarias Bucaneg and their children Nicanor (Freda) Bucaneg, Nemesio (Lolita) Bucaneg, Fidela (Franklin-Deceased) Sanidad, Elpidio (Dina) Bucaneg, Maria Editha Sumer, Anita (Edward) Mosuela, Erlina (Romulo) Ballesteros, Delia Ildefonso, Maria (Richard) Baniaga and 26 grandchildren, 58 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren and 2 great great great grandchildren. She loved being around her family, she loved cooking and she had the biggest heart. She will be dearly missed.
