Consolacion I. "Conching" Perlas' Obituary
Consolacion I. Perlas, 84, of Lahaina, was born in Ubbog, Sinait, Philippines on March 23, 1931. She passed away on November 12, 2015 at Maui Memorial Medical Center in Wailuku.
Service will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Maria Lanakila Church. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. with mass to begin at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be at 12:30 p.m. at Maui Memorial Park - Garden of Meditation with a lunch reception to follow at Nakamura Mortuary.
Conching retired from the Royal Lahaina Resort after 20 years of service and was a faithful servant of Maria Lanakila Catholic Church for over 40 years. She was also a member of the Sinaitenians of Maui. Conching loved to travel, dance, sew, cook, getting to know people and helping them if needed. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Conching is survived by her daughters, Elsa (Jim) Eberle of South Carolina, Helen Perlas-Ka'ai (Howard) of Lahaina; 4 grandchildren, Matt (Kecia) Eberle, Michelle Perlas-Neri, Andrea Eberle, and Matini Perlas-Ka'ai; 2 great-granddaughters, Kaila and Kora Eberle. She is predeceased by her great-grandson, Liam Perlas Steele, husband of 56 years, Eleuterio B. Perlas, and brother Manuel Inda.
