Cristino Juan Taclan Sr's Obituary
Cristino (Carlos) Juan Taclan Sr., 84 of Waikapu, Maui went home to the Lord on December 13, 2023, while surrounded by his loved ones at home under the care of Hospice Maui. He was born on July 23, 1939, in Ilocos Norte, Philippines and retired from Wailuku Water Company.
Cristino is survived by his wife Henereit Juling and children Priscilla (Jeffrey) Romero, Adrian, and Andrea. He is predeceased by his daughter Christine and son Cristino Jr. (Elaine). His grandchildren Eternity Ray, Everli Lei, and Cristino Taclan Chang, Samuel, Isaiah, and Christian Romero, Shi-Ann Taclan-Romero, Isaiah Day, and Christopher Ohta.
He is predeceased by his parents Jose and Fidela, sister Lapaz (Ignacio) Baltazar, brothers Faustino (Carnacion), Nemecio (Violet), Rufino (Teresita), and Pricilo (Cerlina).
The family would like to express a heartfelt gratitude to all their family and friends. Special thanks to Dr. Pollack and the Kaiser oncology staff and the staff of Hospice Maui.
Services will be held on Friday, January 26th, 2024, at Nakamura Mortuary from 5:00pm to 9:00pm and Saturday, January 27th, 2024, from 9:00am to 12:00pm. Luncheon to follow from 12:00pm to 2:00pm in the Reception Area.
