David Charles Kecxon's Obituary
David Charles Kecxon, Big Wave Dave, who was 57 years old from Wailuku, Hi, died unexpectedly on November 23, 2015 at Maui Memorial Medical Center from a wound inflicted to his chest.
David Kecxon moved to Maui 2 years ago and was a resident of the Kokua Mental Health center in Wailuku, Hi. He was born on November 17, 1958 in Pomona California. He is survived by his father Tibor, Ted Kecxon and siblings Carol Kramer, Terry Kecxon and Cheri Kecxon-Crouse. He is predeceased by his mother, Margaret Ann Kecxon and his older brother, Ted Brian Kecxon.
He graduated from Chatsworth High School in California and he worked for Paul Eisenberg of Pacific Motor works, where he performed his passion of detailing cars. He spent his life detailing eccentric cars at various shops during his adult life in California.
David spent his life traveling to many cities including Oahu, Hawaii and Maui where his heart lead him to live the rest of his life along with his good friends Steve Hildebrand, Paul Eisenberg, Brian Dinwiddle and Brad. He also had his very dear friend from the mainland, Cadillac.
David was a kind, gentle soul that always made people smile with his beautiful heart and compassionate words. He will always be remembered for his diligent work ethic and pure heart. He will be deeply missed by all those that came to knew him.
Nakamura Mortuary had a viewing for the family on November 25, 2015. There was also a small memorial service with his friends and family as his ashes were spread at Kanaha Beach.
Flowers, donations and condolences may be offered to the family at the residence of Cheri Kecxon -Crouse at 22554 Skipping Stone Dr. Santa Clarita Ca. 91350.
