Doris M. Poouahi's Obituary
Doris M. Poouahi, 43, of Kula, died February 25, 2015, at Maui Memorial Medical Center in Wailuku.
Visitation will begin at 11:30 a.m. Friday April 10, 2015 at Nakamura Mortuary, with a Service at 1:15 p.m. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Maui Memorial Park. A reception will be held on Saturday, April 11 at Oskie Rice Arena from 2pm – 6pm.
Ms. Poouahi was born Sept. 9, 1971, in Wailuku. She was the daughter of Francis and Melva Poouahi.
She worked in retail.
She is survived by her father, Francis N. Poouahi Sr., a sister, Evangeline “Tita” Fong, a brother, Francis N. “Fanny Boy” Poouahi Jr., two sons; John Kahlen Poouahi, and Dylan K. Poouahi; Daughter, Havenlee Pereirra; and boyfriend, Harry Pereirra.
Doris is described by friends and family as someone who is easy to talk to, happy, a sweetheart, outgoing, loved to party, and enjoyed life.
