Earl Tadashi Uchida's Obituary
Earl Tadashi Uchida was born on May 25, 1952, to Fusae Uchida and Henry Yorisada Uchida and passed away on December 7, 2024. He grew up in Wailuku and was a lifelong resident. He was predeceased by his parents and his sister, Lorraine Kato.
As a youth he participated in several sports including Little League baseball and tennis, where he served as captain of his tennis team. He loved going to Las Vegas with his friends and would go as often as he could. Earl served his military service in the army and was stationed in Germany. He retired as an SP4. Dogs were a big part of his life, and he owned a number of dogs in his lifetime.
He worked in the food service industry serving as Banquet Captain for a major hotel.
He will be deeply missed by his family and many friends for his kindness and generosity.
He is survived by his nephew Duane Kato, his sister Claire Hirata, his nephew Eric Hirata, and niece Leslie Chin.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Nakamura Mortuary on January 14, 2025, at 11:00.
