Edward N Hamasaki's Obituary
Edward N. Hamasaki, 79, of Wailuku, Maui passed away on July 13, 2019 at home surrounded by his loving family.
Edward was born on September 20, 1939. He retired from the family business S. Hamasaki Wholesale.
Edward “Najo” enjoyed spending time with his family and he loved and cherished his two granddaughters. He enjoyed going island hopping and crusing around Maui in his green van. He raised fighting chickens and diving on his free time.
He is predeceased by his parents Shigeru and Kimiko Hamasaki and brother, August Hisao Hamasaki. Edward is survived by his wife, Rhonda Hamasaki; son, Nathan (Christy) Hamasaki; daughter, Lisa Hamasaki; granddaughters, Courtney and Naiya Hamasaki; sisters, Janet (Richard) Ikeda, Patsy Sodetani, Diane (Alan) Nishimoto, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at Wailuku Honwanji Mission from 4:00pm to 5:00pm with service over urn to begin at 5:00pm.
