Eleanor C. Morioka's Obituary
Eleanor C. Morioka of Kahului, Maui Passed away peacefully on December 31, 2014 at the Maui Memorial Medical Center.
She is preceded in death by her parents John Correa Silva Sr. and Hanayo "Rose" Correa Silva of Puunene and her brother Daniel Kazuo Correa of Haiku.
Eleanor is survived by her husband James H. Morioka; sons Elden H. (Debra) Morioka and Ross H. Morioka; brother John Correa Jr.; sisters, Ann-Marie Okuyama, Ethel Kealoha, Thelma Yamamura and Eleanor's pride and joy, her granddaughters, Kristy, Dayna, and Tiffany Morioka.
Visitation will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday, January 12, 2015 at Christ the King Church, Kahului, Maui. Mass service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Maui Memorial Park - Garden of Meditation. The family requests casual attire.
Eleanor was an inspirational individual; she was a positive example on the Inspiration of Love, Trust, Hope, and the Holy Blessings equaled by few. She was a hardworking and devoted wife, mother, and a grandmother who dedicated herself to her family, her friends, her plants and pets.
