Eleanor Kinue Tanji, 86, of Kahului, died Jan. 6, 2015, at Hale Makua Kahului.
Private services were held.
Mrs. Tanji was born Oct. 26, 1928, in Wailuku. She retired from HC&S after 36 years of service in accounts payable.
She was predeceased by her husband, Hideo Tanji, and is survived by her son, Michael (Nancy) Tanji; her daughter, Michele (Gene) Brumblay; her brother, Roland Nishie; 2 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
