Elinor Bras Rodrigues' Obituary
Elinor Bras Rodrigues, 90, of Haiku, passed away peacefully on Sept. 29, 2016 at home surrounded by loving family.
Services honoring Elinor Rodrigues will take place on Friday, Oct. 21, 2016 at St. Joseph Church. Visitation will begin at 9:00am with mass at 11:00am. Burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Nakamura Mortuary is assisting with arrangements.
Elinor was born on Sept. 17, 1926 in Paia, Maui to Manuel & Flora Bras. Elinor was a homemaker who loved roses, sewing, baking, but most importantly, spending time with her family. Elinor was predeceased by her loving husband, Joseph Rodrigues, whom she was married to for 64 years prior to his passing in 2011.
Elinor is survived by her brother, Edwin (Kathy) Bras; daughter, Theresa Terri (Bernard) Garcia; sons, Anthony (Irene) Rodrigues, Clyde (Patty) Rodrigues, and Eliot (Josepha) Rodrigues; 9 grandchildren, 16 greatgrandchildren, 5 great greatgrandchildren, and many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.
