From the very start, my dear friend, Roxanne Miranda, thoroughly won my heart! We took a writer's workshop together at Kaunoa Senior Center and went on to forming our own writer's group many years ago. Through her incredibly written stories, she shared her wisdom, beauty, and grace. Even when her body was failing and she could no longer walk, Roxanne never gave up. She was beautiful, kind, generous, witty, and had a lovely sense of humor. She taught all of us what it was to carry on with this difficult path ahead of her. Facing these numerous challenges, Roxanne didn't complain and showed us the strength of spirit. I admired her greatly and feel extremely blessed by the deep connection we shared!
