Ellena Borling, a beloved resident of Maui, was born on January 11, 1944, to George and Mary Borling. She passed away peacefully in Wailuku, HI, on February 6, 2024. Her unwavering faith and dedication to her family and community will forever be remembered.
Ellena was a devoted wife, having been preceeded in death by her loving husband, Liberato Borling. Together, they raised three sons: Darrel, Dino, and Derwin Borling. Their family bonds were strong, and their memories will live on in the hearts of those who knew them.
Ellena’s life was marked by her deep Catholic faith. She found solace and strength in her spiritual journey, attending Christ the King Church faithfully. Her unwavering commitment to her beliefs was an inspiration to all who crossed her path.
Beyond her role as a mother and wife, Ellena was a talented wedding planner. Her meticulous attention to detail and warm-hearted approach made her a cherished presence in countless couples’ special days. She transformed ordinary moments into extraordinary memories, leaving a lasting impact on the lives she touched.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at Ellena’s services, which will be held on Monday, February 12, 2024, at Christ the King Church from 9 AM to 12 PM. Following the services, her burial will take place at Maui Memorial Park’s Garden of Meditation at 2 PM.
