Emiliano Rosario Maon “Tatay”. A Beloved Husband, Father and Grandfather. Who was 88 years old, from Wailuku, Hawaii. Passed away peacefully on March 4th, 2026 in Maui Memorial Medical Hospital. Surrounded by his loving Family. He was born on January 8th, 1938 in Tayug, Pangasinan, Philippines to Vicente and Paulina Maon.
“Tatay” Milio, was a devoted Family man, generous, and lovable Grandpa. He was a strong, Smart, and hardworking man. He sacrificed a lot for his family. Deeply committed to his wife sharing 68 years of memories. Nanay “oping” and their 6 children, Baltazar (Cherlie), Jerry (Marites), Noel, Virginia (Lito), Bernard (Virgilyn), Maribel (Rolly).
“Tatay” Milio came to Hawaii in 1994. He worked as a houseman at the Outrigger Hotel and supervision at PWC. His passion is farming. Every single day he goes to his farm to take care of his plants, dogs, chickens and cats. Tatay enjoys a wonderful classic pastime playing mahjong.
Tatay Milio will be remembered for his warm smile, cheerful demeanor, and compassionate heart. He touched the hearts of the lives of people who knew him. Leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness and perseverance. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family, friends and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
